Happy Sunday, friends! Irene is sharing another Autumn card today. For this project, I used softer colors, which I thought would be a nice change.
I began with the Autumn Artisan Die Set and the Speckled 6x6 Paper Pad. I chose four leaf shapes to die-cut, in tan, light orange, and vanilla. I glued the leaves to white, heavy-weight cardstock.
I then trimmed the white cardstock down to 5.25x4 inches. I trimmed one sheet of the darker orange Speckled paper to 5.5x4.25 inches. Using another dark orange paper, I used a stacking die set to cut a thin frame measuring 4.5 x3.25 inches. I trimmed the vellum to the same size and added the thin frame.
I prepared white cardstock with anti-static powder and stamped 'Autumn Greetings' from Alice's Story Autumn Memories stamp set in clear embossing ink and heat-set gold embossing powder. I used the coordinating dies to cut the sentiment. I glued it to the center of the vellum. Next, I added the sentiment. To keep the glue from showing, I added glue to the vellum behind the sentiment and placed it over the leaf panel. I also added glue to the corners behind the vellum.
I added five Dew Drops to accent the sentiment. Finally, I added the panel to the A2-sized orange panel. Voila! All done! I hope this tutorial inspires you. Thanks for reading along!
