Merry and Bright Shaker Card

Happy Sunday, friends! Christmas is just three days away! I wanted to share one more Christmas card before my favorite season ends.

I created a shaker card this week! I used the Elongated Ovals A2 cover Plate. I cut two cover pieces of this using heavy white cardstock and glued one to patterned paper. I wanted a wintery theme, so I chose blue with a white snowflake print. Next, I added 1/8th-inch foam tape to the outer frame.

I glued some embellishments to the background. I chose Prism Snowflakes, Clear Dew Drops, and Opaque Mother-of-Pearl Sequins.

I added more sequins and left them loose. I removed the paper backing off the tape and added an A2 acetate sheet. I glued the second cover die cut over the acetate with liquid glue.

I created the sentiment using the Merry and Bright Die set. I cut the outline with vellum and the letters with holographic silver cardstock. I assembled them and added them to the shaker panel with liquid glue.

Finally, I added three stars near the sentiment for added sparkle.

Thank you so much for reading along! I hope you have a wonderful holiday!
