"How to Create a Pretty Pink Mother's Day Card"

Hello, crafty friends! Irene here with you again today with a Mother's Day card. I used the Alice's Story Honeysuckle Stamp Set and

.

I created a patterned paper with this stamp set for both sides of my card. I began with two A2-sized card panels. I stamped Happy Mother's Day using the Misti stamping tool on one panel. I used Catherine Pooler Pucker Up ink for "Happy" and Be Mine for "Mother's Day."

With a stamping block, I began to create patterned paper with the honeysuckle stamp. I stamped the honeysuckle arching over the sentiment and continued to stamp, floating to the panel's upper right corner. I used four shades of pink: Pucker Up, Be Mine, Party Dress, and It's a Girl. I stamped the second panel with a stamping block various times in the same colors, making sure to cover the majority of the panel without crossing the stamps.

Next, I used copic marker RV00 to color each flower's petals and leaves partially. I trimmed the panels to 4x5.25 inches and added them to the front and back of a top folding card base. Finally, I added pink and clear gems from the Pink Champagne Sparkle Gems to the front of the card for sparkle.

Thanks for reading along!
