Hello friends, and Happy Sunday! I'm back today with a wintry Christmas scene card you can make in five minutes. I used the Forest Landscape Stencil Set and the Merry and Bright Word Die Set.
I first trimmed a card panel to 5.25x4 inches, sprayed the back of the stencil with Pixie Spray, and placed the stencil at the edge of the card panel. I stenciled the landscape with Catherine Pooler Ink in Cove Blue.
I removed the stencil and placed it to the right to offset it. I inked this layer in Stone Blue.
Next, I flipped the stencil and placed it down to the left. I inked generously with Tranquil ink. I removed the stencil once again and placed it centered without flipping it. I inked the layer lightly with Tranquil ink.
I added "snow" to the panel with a paintbrush and Copic Opaque White Ink. I did this by directly placing ink onto the background with the tip of the brush and by tapping on my brush.
Next, I created the sentiment with vellum and holographic silver foil cardstock. Before die-cutting, I placed double-sided tape on the back of the silver cardstock for easier placement. I used the outline die with the vellum and added the foil letters.
I added liquid glue to the vellum behind each letter and to the background. Lastly, I attached the panel to A2-size holographic foil cardstock.
Thanks for reading along! Have a wonderful week!
