Happy Sunday, friends! Fall is right around the corner, which means the holidays will be coming up fast! I am sharing a Thanksgiving card made with the New Autumn Artisan Metal Craft Dies this week.
I began by inking white card stock using the Retro Stripes layering stencil. Then, I used the Circle stencil layer with Catherine Pooler ink, Rogue, Manderin Spice, and GoldenRod. Then, I die-cut it with a circle-shaped stacking die.
Next, I die-cut leaves. I used vellum for the larger die and cut two. Next, I die-cut four maple leaves in matte gold foil cardstock and one oval in white cardstock. I stamped "Happy Thanksgiving" from Alice's Story Autumn Memories onto the oval die-cut.
I glued the vellum leaves behind the sentiment oval and glued this to the inked circle. I arranged the gold leaves by tucking the stems behind the sentiment and lightly bent the leaves upward for dimension.
Next, I added the circle-shaped panel to A2 Kraft Cardstock with liquid glue. Lastly, I added white opaque painted dots around the sentiment.
All done! Have you started your holiday cards? Let us know! Thanks for reading along!
